• interval or accumulated consumption data,
• dates and times of electricity usage.

We do not collect payment information, billing amounts, credit history, or identification documents.

2.2 Personal information used to verify consent

To prove your consent when requesting data from your electricity distributor, we may collect:

• Surname
• Email address
• Phone number
• Postcode
• NMI (National Metering Identifier)
• Retailer/Distributor name

2.3 Optional household characteristics

You may choose to provide additional non-mandatory information solely to improve the accuracy of our analysis, such as whether your household has solar panels, batteries, EV, AC, pool, or a smart meter.

3. How we collect information

• Directly from you via our website forms.
• Through uploaded data files you choose to provide.
• From electricity distributors (such as Ausgrid) only where you have provided express consent.

4. Why we collect your information

We use information to request usage data on your behalf, analyse pricing outcomes, and prepare anonymised insights for public policy advocacy. We do not use your information for direct marketing.

5. Anonymisation and aggregation

Wherever possible, usage data is anonymised and outputs are aggregated so individuals cannot be identified. We do not publish identifiable individual data.
